Between Us — Privacy Policy

The short version: Between Us collects nothing. There is no server, no account, no analytics, and no tracking. Your answers never leave your phone unless you explicitly send them to your partner.

What the app stores

Your checklist answers, personal write-ins, and the name you enter are stored in a file on your device only, protected by iOS file encryption.
After a compare, your partner's sheet is also stored on your device so you can revisit the comparison. You can remove it anytime ("Forget their sheet" on the Compare screen).

What the app transmits

Nothing, by default. The app makes no internet connections.
When you and your partner both choose to compare, your finished sheets are exchanged directly between your two phones over an encrypted local connection (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth). No third party — including us — can see this data. Nothing is exchanged until both sheets are finished and both people explicitly confirm on their own phone.
If you use the export feature, you decide where the file goes (AirDrop, Files, etc.). That's entirely under your control.

What we collect

Nothing. We have no servers, so we couldn't collect your data if we wanted to. We never see your answers, your name, your device identifiers, or your usage.

Third parties

The app includes no third-party SDKs, no advertising, and no analytics of any kind.

Data deletion

Use "Reset this phone's sheet" in the app, or delete the app — either removes all data. Because there is no server, there is nothing else to delete anywhere.

Age

Between Us is intended for adults (18+).
